Please pray for the families and survivors of the landslides that happened last week near Mt. Elgon, about 170 miles Northeast of Kampala, where I live. A BBC article says of one of the villages affected, “It is a mark of the power of the mudslide that only 40 people from a community of more than 350 are still alive.” Uganda continues to have heavy rains in a season that is usually dry.
